The art of taking and defending depositions is central to a litigation practice. In this course, you will learn techniques from an experienced litigator about how to get the information you need to help prove your case at trial, how to deal with evasive witnesses and difficult opposing counsel. You will learn about how to use depositions at trial and differences between discovery and perpetuation depositions. You will get tips on preparing your own clients and witnesses in being deposed by the adverse party.
