Gemma Zanowski graduated cum laude in 2010 from the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law. She earned undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Psychology from the University of Arizona, graduating summa cum laude in 2007.
Prior to joining Evergreen Personal Injury Counsel, Ms. Zanowski served as the judicial law clerk for Kitsap County Superior Court Judges Jay B. Roof, Jeanette Dalton, Jennifer Forbes, and Sally F. Olsen. She also completed a fellowship with the Northwest Justice Project where she assisted low and no-income individuals with Medicare and Disability claims.
An active member of her community, Ms. Zanowski serves as a board member for the Prison Pet Partnership and the Washington State Bar Association Animal Law Small Section. She is also the Chair Elect of the WSBA Animal Law Small Section for 2014/2015, and will serve as the 2015/2016 Chair. Ms. Zanowski is the 2015/2016 volunteer moderator for the Washington State Association of Justice Getting Started Series. Ms. Zanowski additionally volunteers with the United Way Young Philanthropists, and volunteers for an animal rescue organization that she founded.
In her free time Ms. Zanowski enjoys reading, biking, running, and hiking the many beautiful trails the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She lives in Tacoma with her animal entourage: a pair of bunnies and a pair of dogs.
