Becky Cholewka is the founder and managing attorney of Cholewka Law—an estate planning and probate law firm in downtown Gilbert, Arizona. She realized the importance of estate planning when her dad died when she was only 19. Through the years, she has seen the benefits of great planning, and the nightmare of poor planning. She is passionate about helping protect families and keeping them out of court.
Law is a second-career for Becky. Her previous professional experience includes community relations for the Cleveland Indians Baseball Company, non-profit fundraising and event planning for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Cleveland Film Commission, and the National Conference for Community and Justice, and lobbying for education issues and health and human service issues for Cleveland Municipal School District.
Becky is from a small California cattle town and is proud to be actively involved in her local community. She is an elected Board of Director for the Power Ranch Homeowner’s Association. She also serves on the Advisory Board for Mariposa Point Assisted Living Facility and is on the Patient Advisory Council for Mercy Gilbert Hospital. Becky is also the Wealth Counsel Arizona Forum Facilitator, where she is responsible for the mentoring and continuing education of 150+ estate planning attorneys.
Becky and her husband have lived in California, Ohio, and Arizona and have called Gilbert “home” since 2004. Becky enjoys riding bikes and hiking with her son 8-year-old son Will. (Yes- she is an estate planning attorney with a son named Will!) She enjoys domestic and international travel, gourmet cooking, action movies, reading mystery and history books, and all types of sports.
